This will concentrate on portraits and baby photos, as well as makeovers, boudoir, etc.  as well as the weddings offered on this site

Derek Barrett Photography only use the latest digital imaging technology from Canon and other leading professional suppliers.

The professional leaves nothing to chance

• We always carry at least 2 cameras to every assignment, with 2 flashguns, several memory cards and lenses. We have additional equipment with us as the occasion demands, with further equipment at our premises.
• At a wedding reception we back up all photos onto a laptop computer and additional hard drive to ensure that the pictures are OK.
• We carry full Equipment, Personal Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance for your peace of mind.
• Back in the office all pictures are transferred to an external hard drive and archived to DVD (with one copy held at an off site location) before any work is done on the pictures.
• Once the pictures are edited we copy the finished pictures again to DVD and external hard drive.
• The edited pictures and a slideshow are copied to another CD for you and to the internet for you to view.
• All images are kept indefinitely, so prints may be made at any time in the future
• Derek has been CRB checked (Certificate available on request)
