What is the difference between an amateur photographer and a professional?
The professional leaves nothing to chance
- We always carry at least 2 cameras to every assignment, with 2 flashguns and several memory cards. We have additional equipment with us as the occasion demands, with further equipment at our studio.
- At a wedding reception we always back up all photos onto a laptop computer to ensure that the pictures are OK. If time permits, we will also back them up onto a portable hard drive and CD for security.
- We carry full Equipment, Personal Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance for your peace of mind.
- Back in the office all pictures are transferred to an external hard drive and a further copy is made to CD before any work is done on the pictures. Once the pictures are edited we will copy the finished pictures again to CD or DVD and to the second hard drive.
- The edited pictures are then copied to another CD for you and also to our internet site for your perusal.
- Finally an archive copy is made to DVD of all the work done and kept in a secure off site location
- All disks are kept indefinitely, so prints may be made at any time in the future.

What make us unique among wedding photographers?
Ask these questions for any other photographer you may be considering.
Most offer standard packages. How do they respond if you want extra prints or a different album from their Normal one?
- Many will not offer alternatives to their standard of 30 prints in an album, even when they have taken many more, or they may charge an extortionate price for a non-standard package
- We do not offer a standard package so you can have as many prints as you like, in any album of your choice. You can even go out and buy your own album and we will put any prints in it for you (including ones taken by your family and friends). Or you can go it alone and do it all yourself.
How do they react if you want to have your photos arranged in a different way than their standard, production line, method?
- You are free to have any layout you like in your album.
- Very popular are Memory albums. For these we will arrange sympathetic prints together with coloured under lays and embellish the pages with scraps of confetti and other suitable reminders of your special day. They look stunning and must be seen to fully appreciate how different they are from the traditional album.

What is their response if you ask for your pictures on CD?
- Most will ask some excessive fee (some as much as £200 per image) for the pictures on CD, or may insist that you can only have them after 2 years or more.
- Why? We give you copies of all of the pictures we take on a CD. You are free to take the CD to any High Street photo shop to have prints made for your personal use, or you can print them on your home computer, however we can take no responsibility for the quality of any prints you receive from your printer or processor. *
